Led an audit team review of internal controls across the Regional Procurement function in Australia . Required coordinated fieldwork, explanation of findings, stakeholder management, closing presentation delivery and preparation of executive report for senior management and to Board level.

Led a review of internal controls across Alcoa's Farmlands Operations in WA. Required review of prior year's results and management of test cycle prior to scheduled audit. An assessment on the impact of Sarbanes Oxley was required.

Big Business Review - Budget & Forecast Team Professional Day Facilitated Session
Developed and delivered a motivational and experiential Life & Work Balance session which set the scene for the annual team planning activity.

Foster's Group, through The Faculty Management Consultants
Big Business Resource - Procurement Function Integration Process
Developed and delivered a toolkit to enable the global procurement team to measure bottomline performance following the Southcorp acquisition in mid-2005.
Required quick establishment of working relationships with key people in other functional groups (Finance, Corporate Project Office) in order to deliver results. Also entailed management of the Scorecard Process and provision of 'first call' mentor / support role for Global Procurement Team.

Having been a customer who needed to pay consultants to deliver (in a former life!), I was accustomed to meeting with consulting hierarchy (a senior associate or managing partner) to nut out scope detail, and then working with their graduates (and inevitably in most cases – training them) in the detail to deliver my desired result. Often what I needed was an extension of myself, not someone that required oversight. That was hard to buy and those peer resources even harder to find!

End result, I still love to work hands on, and I'm happy to work as an extension of your role for you and with your team on your turf to deliver results. I can step effortlessly into functional roles, as well as a mentor / support role. My motto is to work to ensure 'no surprises' for my corporate employer - one of my early bosses etched that delivery requirement into my brain (thanks Dave)!!
